Snorkeling: a Useful and Enjoyable Sea Rest.
Snorkeling: a Useful and Enjoyable Sea Rest.
It's so nice to sunbathe on a chaise lounge near the hotel, but it's not as interesting as a holiday at sea itself. Having rest at sea is not only healthy but also very exciting. Especially if you choose a more original option than just the usual splashing in the water. It's about snorkeling - that is, one of the types of diving. Today it can be taken up near the island of Tao (one of the Thai islands in the Gulf of Thailand), which has become the popular attraction for divers from all over the world. And this is not surprising because it is here that unique and rich flora and fauna are situated. A couple of decades ago, the island was uninhabited, so all of this was preserved in its original form.

The peculiarity of snorkeling
Many vacationers would be happy to study the underwater world, but the heavy equipment that is necessary for diving, as well as deep-sea diving scares most. For going snorkeling, there is enough to have a diving mask and a snorkel. This is more convenient and not so terrible for beginners, and most importantly - does not require complex instruction. That's why snorkeling can be called both a rest and an active sport because you need to swim for this. An important feature of such underwater diving is that during it there is no heavy load on the body.

What you need to know and be able to do.
Snorkeling does not require a special training. It is enough only to be able to stay on the water for at least 15 minutes, and to hold your breath for 45 seconds. The main thing is a properly selected mask and snorkel. The first should fit snugly to the face, so that water does not get into it. By the way, if you have problems with your vision, you should choose a special mask with dioptric glass.
